In January 1st the H2020 project PILOTING started its actions, but everybody had to wait until January 15th and 16th, when the project’s kick-off meeting took place.
This event was held at Parque Aerópolis, in Seville (near to the FADA-CATEC’s facilities) and count on with the presence of several members of the consortium’s companies, such as SINTEF, Quasset, GRVC – University of Seville, ETH Zürich , Applus, Ferrovial, Inspection Robotics and Chevron. In these presentations all the work packages (WP) were explained and discussed and in the end of this event the members decided which will be the next actions for the development of PILOTING.
PILOTING is a H2020 project which proposes the adaptation, integration, and demonstration of robotic solutions, in an integrated platform, which will be tested and evaluated in three large-scale pilots: refineries, bridges/viaducts and tunnels with the involvement of all the actors that conform the full value chain. This projects continues the advances and developments of another inspection and maintenance projects with aerial robotics technologies like AEROBI or AEROARMS.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 871542.
